Working From Home?

Jessie, 28, finds herself in a bind again, pulled between work and home, as she struggles to separate herself from her crying child before rushing off to another busy commute. \"I wish I could just stay home and work my own schedule, be my own boss.\"

What working mother hasnat been through this before? Honestly though, are their other options? We are bombarded with online ads all the time. These ads claim that we can earn thousands of dollars a month from right behind our home computers. It sounds great!

The only problem is strangers are asking for $150 start up, or asking for you to first spend 30 hours taking surveys. Investing that kind of time and money is very risky when scams are floating around every corner of the Internet. And even if you find some survey spots that pay, think about all of your living expenses, and your child's living expenses, is that really going to cut it?

That leaves us with the more traditional ways to make money from home. If you are a fairly good sales woman and you know lots of people, you can have some success selling something from home. There are cosmetics, candles, home goods, childrensa toys, rubber stamping products, marital aids, and all sorts of cooking gadgets. You could find a product to fit nearly any personality.

So is selling products right for you? Well, that depends, if you
have the right avenue to sell products, and you make sure to stock
the appropriate goods for the consumers, it's all ready to go. Many
people make $30-$200 a day bringing goods to show-floors and
swap-meets for resale. Not exactly enough for a car, but it can be
enough for extra gas.

Strangely enough, you could \"make\" more money, by simply cutting
down on expenses! How about not keeping that extra car? If you made
that sacrifice you'd make yourself three to five-hundred a month!
And if you stopped all the meals out, you could \"earn\" another
couple hundred! Don't forget all the money wasted with work-clothes
and commuting expenses, and the child-care bill! But how do you
avoid spending money there?

Grab a calculator and take a seat with your loved one. You could
\"earn\" just as much money staying at home! How? By simply cutting
out all your unnecessary expenses! It wouldn't take much to reach
that dream of staying home, but you have to be prepared to make some
changes in your life. And here's some food for thought, having one
income might have you in a lower tax bracket, and that can mean more
benefits!

In the end, it's your decision, is it worth all that money to leave your children behind all day? It may make them independent, but it may also make them strangers. All in all, each person has to decide what's best for them and their family. Most working families could save hundreds of dollars a month if they really only wanted to make the proper sacrifices.
